Mr Haider Nawaz is Vice President Business Development at Varun Shipping Company Ltd. A company that owns and operates vessels in the LPG/Oil/OffShore sectors with its Head office located in Mumbai.
Mr Nawaz holds a degree in electrical engineering and possesses 17 years’ experience in developing businesses worldwide. From being the Managing Director of a manufacturing organization in Singapore, he now heads the Singapore Office of Varun Shipping and has been instrumental in increasing the company’s commercial role and global activities from Singapore office.
Mr Nawaz is also nominated by the Indian National Shipowners Association as the main contact person for Asian Shipowners Forum (ASF) and within ASF, he is an active participant in the Safe Navigation & Environment Committee (SNEC) and Shipping Economics Review Committee (SERC).
