Mr Michael Chia Hock Chye

Mr Chia is currently the Managing Director (Marine) of KOMTech (KOM). His experience in the maritime industry started in 1976 in Jurong Shipyard before joining Promet Shipbuilding in 1978. He joined Keppel FELS, a global leader in rigbuilding in 1980 where he was Managing Director.
Mr Chia holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture (1st Class Honours), and a Master of Business Administration.
Mr Chia, who holds a Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration, is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore and American Bureau of Shipping, USA.
