Mr Michael Chia Hock Chye
Board Member
Mr Chia is Keppel FELS’ Executive Director. He joined Keppel FELS, a global leader in rigbuilding, in 1980. Previously, he had been in Promet Shipbuilding (1978-1980) and Jurong Shipyard (1976-1978).
Mr Chia holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture (1st Class Honours), and a Master of Business Administration.
He is the President of the Association of Singapore Marine Industries and Chairman the Marine & Offshore Technology Advisory Committee. Mr Chia, who holds a Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration, is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore and American Bureau of Shipping, USA.
