“My interest was stimulated when I was pursuing a Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management back in Singapore Polytechnic. The experienced lecturers’ stories and my six-month internship with an oil major company made me realise how dynamic and challenging the maritime industry is. This spurred me to pursue the Maritime Studies degree programme in Nanyang Technological University. Being awarded the “K” Line-MaritimeONE Scholarship was really a bonus. I believe that the scholarship will provide rich opportunities and experience which will prepare me competently when I join the maritime industry.”
