“I'm very honoured and grateful to be able to receive the SMF scholarship. It is providing me with the opportunity to experience university life and undergo an exchange programme at the BI Norwegian School of Management in Norway for a semester, without having to worry about the finances. SMF also arranged for me to intern with a petroleum giant when I was in my first year and I look forward to many other internship opportunities to come.
My first contact with SMF was during the Great Maritime Race in 2005. That was when my interest bloomed and continued to grow. Thus, I decided to apply for the SMF scholarship after I managed to get accepted to the Maritime Studies programme.”
