“Being a maritime scholar has opened many doors for me – networking events, internships and most importantly, getting to know more about the shipping industry. SMF provides many opportunities and has a great support network for its scholars. I applied for the scholarship when I got accepted into NTU’s Maritime Studies and what attracted me was that there is no bond!
Going to Oslo for a semester was the best time of my life! It taught me how to be independent and apart from studying, my friends and I found time to travel and interact. We had a lot of together – cooking, travelling, studying, clubbing!”
