Sea Asia 2009, the region’s leading maritime conference and exhibition, will return to Suntec Singapore for its second edition from 21-23 April 2009. More than 150 senior maritime professionals in the Singapore maritime community attended the official launch party of Sea Asia 2009 on 11 June 2008 held at Reflections at Keppel Bay. The venue was kindly sponsored by the Keppel Group.
The debate at the Sea Asia 2009 conference is entitled ‘The Asian Voice in World Shipping – Clearer and Stronger’. Chairman of the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), Mr SS Teo, is backing this movement.
“Top Asian shipowners and leading maritime operators will congregate in Singapore for Sea Asia 2009. They will share insights of the maritime issues pertinent to this region to develop the voice of Asian shipping. The event epitomizes the unity and professionalism of the Singapore maritime community, both government and the private sector, in presenting an international maritime event of world-class standing,” said Mr Teo.
With strong regional support and international industry endorsement, Sea Asia 2009 promises to return to Singapore a bigger and
better show.
