The inaugural Marine Insurance & Maritime Networking event was held on 8 June 2011 at J Bar @ M Hotel. Co-organised by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and the General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA), this event aimed to bring together marine insurance practitioners and maritime leaders across the various specialisations, including ship financiers, ship owners, classification societies, ship brokers and maritime lawyers to network and explore new partnerships. Over 130 marine insurance practitioners and maritime leaders attended this casual networking event.
