During Nor-Shipping 2009, SMF orchestrated the Singapore Nite reception, held on the 10 June.
The evening reception was held at the Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel in Oslo, Norway and graced by the Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Raymond Lim.
Hosted by SMF Board Members Dato Jude Benny, Mr Erik Borgen and Mr Lam Yi Young, the event was well attended by nearly 350 senior level guests from Asia and Europe.
Many guests were bowled over by the wide selection of delectable Singapore cuisine. There was also ample networking opportunities between the Singapore delegates and the reputable personalities in the Norwegian and international maritime community.
