On 2 June 2011, Y.E.S. (Young Executives and Students) Club held its first Sport Match, Ultimate Frisbee at the Angsana Green, East Coast Park. Undergraduates pursuing maritime education at Maritime Institute Willem Barentsz, Newcastle University and the Nanyang Technological University took part in this fun-filled activity and mingled freely with their maritime counterparts. Students were taught the basic footwork of Frisbee and methods to handle a Frisbee. Our maritime students pitched their skills against one another in a series of fun yet challenging activities. The winning team was rewarded a prize for their hard work.
