About MaritimeONE (Outreach NEtwork)
The Maritime Outreach Network, also known as MaritimeONE, serves as a key platform for maritime stakeholders to collectively raise the awareness of the maritime industry and attract quality manpower into the industry.
This initiative was jointly launched by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI) and Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) in April 2007.
The MaritimeONE initiatives include the MaritimeONE scholarships, partnership activities such as student outreach events and NetworkONE receptions.
About MaritimeONE Scholarship
The MaritimeONE Scholarship is an initiative spearheaded by the Singapore Maritime Foundation and its maritime partners. These companies (Sponsors) have pledged their commitment to the scholarship programme by providing the funding for scholarships and offering possible job opportunities in their companies for these scholars.
Through this scholarship, SMF and its maritime partners hope attract young talents into the maritime industry. We hope to incentivize more students to come forth to enroll in maritime-specific courses and pursue a maritime career when they enter the workforce.
The scholarship is available to undergraduates and is awarded based on merit.
