The objectives of the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF):
To be the forum in the private sector for the exchange, generation and development of ideas and proposals, aimed at realising the vision of Singapore to become a premier International Maritime Centre (IMC).
To act as the catalyst to encourage and stimulate the development of cooperation between and among the sectors of the maritime industry.
To partner the government as the private sector’s representative in activities to promote Singapore as a leading IMC and the development of maritime manpower to support the industry.
