About the Event
The Maritime D/coded Tour is organised for undergraduates in NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SIT who are majoring in Computing, Information Systems, Technology and Design, Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, Mathematics to find out more about how big data is used in vessel valuations and trade analysis as well as maritime careers that are relevant to your discipline. Participants will also get to network with maritime professionals as they share about their job scope and personal working experience to give insights about career opportunities in the maritime industry. Participants will also be given exclusive port tours at the PSA and Jurong Port Terminals within the half-day session.
About the Organizer
The Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office is a national initiative, supported by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, as a unit under the Singapore Maritime Foundation, to elevate profiling efforts of the maritime industry, connect students and jobseekers to maritime opportunities, and provide Singaporeans with easy access to maritime careers, education and training opportunities. It offers maritime-related education and career guidance, links the industry with schools for internship and job opportunities, and organises outreach events and publicity campaigns.
