Webinar on “Digitalisation for the Marine & Offshore Engineering Sector”

The Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI), Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and JTC Corporation have jointly organised a webinar on “Digitalisation for the Marine & Offshore Engineering Sector”.

The efforts of promoting digitalisation has been one that the Government have been actively championing in recent years to help streamline operations and improve business productivity. With the impact of the COVID-19, it has become imminent that digitalisation is crucial for the survival of companies in the new normalcy we are entering into. With the new normal, the Marine & Offshore Engineering sector (especially the SMEs) will need to quickly transform its business processes to compete effectively in the global arena, as the sector pivot towards new growth areas as identified under the Industry Transformation Map.

During the webinar, participants learned how to overcome some of the key challenges of digitalisation, were made aware some of the existing solutions for adoption, learned from successful business case studies and were made aware of the available tools or resources for enterprises.
