“Go Further, Dream Bigger” 3-D Interactive Artworks Campaign

This year, the Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office launched an outdoor marketing campaign at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station transit area. Members of the public were able to interact with 3-dimensional (3-D) trick-eye installations and take photos with the artwork displays showcasing the various sectors of the maritime industry and diverse maritime job roles. They could even become the subject of the artwork on display – from Ship Captain and Marine Engineer to Data Analyst and Marine Insurance Underwriter.

MSC Maritime Summit Case Challenge

The second edition of the MSC Maritime Summit Case Challenge (MMSCC) organised by the Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office was run completely virtual. MMSCC 2020 was organised to challenge undergraduates to solve real-life challenges faced by maritime companies whilst working in teams. They had the chance to impress the senior management of PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), PSA and Thome Group with their bright ideas and fresh perspectives. MSC Maritime Careers Workshop 2020

Back for the fifth year, the MSC Maritime Careers Workshop organised by the Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office ran on a fully interactive virtual platform for the first time. Year 3 and 4 undergraduates across all disciplines and working professionals with 0 – 2 years working experience attended this virtual event to find out more about the diverse career opportunities in the maritime industry and network with maritime professionals from six leading local and international maritime companies.

MSC Connexions Forum 2019

The MSC Connexions Forum is an annual half-day session on maritime manpower-related matters organised specially for those in the HR and PR functions of the maritime industry, as well as those working with students and jobseekers in the schools and career centres under Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).

MSC Career Discovery Programme 2019

The Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office, a unit under the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) organised the inaugural MSC Career Discovery Programme. Participants had the chance to undergo a FREE CliftonStrengths assessment with customised report and workshop worth over $100. Undergraduates were invited to join us for a half-day session where we guided them in their career exploration with the help of expert diagnostic tools so that they can better position themselves to their future employers. They also learned more about maritime careers that would be better suited for them.

MSC Maritime Careers Workshop 2019

The Maritime Singapore Connect (MSC) Office organised the fourth MSC Maritime Careers Workshop on 16 August 2019.
