Singapore Maritime Foundation Announces Board Changes

Singapore, 13 December 2023—The Singapore Maritime Foundation today announced two new additions to its Board with effect from 1 January 2024. The new Board Members are:
- Nelson Quek, Regional CEO, Southeast Asia, PSA International
- Jeremy Sutton, CEO, Swire Shipping
Meanwhile, the terms of the following Board Members will end on 31 December 2023:
- Chua San Lye, Dean, Seatrium Academy
- Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO Designate, PSA International
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our deep appreciation to San Lye and Kim Pong for their invaluable contributions to the Singapore Maritime Foundation. They are tireless advocates of our work and the Board has benefited from their rich experience and perspectives. I welcome Nelson and Jeremy to the Board and look forward to working with them to advance SMF’s mission to connect the maritime ecosystem, build a talent pool for the sector, and transform the workforce as change in our industry accelerates,” said Mr. Hor Weng Yew, Chairman, Singapore Maritime Foundation.
